The Kelliwood Killer Whales (KWKW) swim team is a recreational swim team, based in Katy, Texas. Our superior coaches create a fun, engaging team environment where your children can learn how to swim competitively and advance their swimming skills. KWKW is open for all swimmers aged 4-18 as of May 1st, 2025. KWKW is not a "learn to swim" program and all swimmers will be expected to swim the length of the pool by the end of the first week in a swim test.
We are so excited about this season! We will have 1 intersquad meet, 4 dual meets and Meet of Champions (must qualify for these/invitation only). Parents will be expected to volunteer at all regular season and specialized meets or pay their volunteer fee of $350.
*Swimsuits can be purchased at D&J - as last year's model; or you may buy a plain black suit on Amazon. Male: Only Jammers; Female: Only 1-piece.
MEET SCHEDULE:
Practice Meet: May 22nd - @ KWKW - 5:30PM. Swimmers arrive at 4:30PM.
Away: Saturday, May 31st – KWKW @ TIGER, Seven Lakes High School – 8AM. Swimmers at 7AM
Home: Tuesday, June 3rd – NCST @ KWKW - 5:30PM. Swimmers at 4PM
Home: Thursday, June 12th – WSST @ KWKW - 5:30PM. Swimmers at 4PM
Away: Thursday, June 19th – KWKW @ GTST – 6PM. swimmers arrive at 5PM
June 28th – Meet of Champs (Must qualify/Invitation only)
No All Stars Meet
** All HOME meets must conclude by 11pm, followed by clean up/tear down.
PRACTICE SCHEDULE:
Beginning Monday, April 28th (Monday - Friday) Practices will be held in the afternoon at the following times:
7/8: 4:45 - 5:30 p.m.
6 and under: 5:30 - 6 p.m.
9/10: 6 - 6:45 p.m.
11 and up: 6:45 - 7:45 p.m.
Once school ends, the first MORNING practice will be FRIDAY, May 23rd and every Monday - Friday afterwards. Practices
will be held in the morning at the following times:
7/8: 7 - 7:45 a.m.
6 and under: 7:45 - 8:15 a.m.
9/10: 8:15 - 9 a.m.
11/12: 9 - 10 a.m.
13 and up: 10 - 11 a.m.

Look Up Your Swimmers Time History
Do you want to see your child’s time history? Go to “My Account” --> select your child --> select the Blue Hyperlink event description (ie. 25 yard backstroke). Ta-Da – a history of your child’s times by meet! If you see “—“, your swimmer was dis-qualified from that event and there is no record of that time.
